FOOT CONTROL PEDAL

The 744D is pedal powered, but not like that! This 3-Pin foot control pedal includes an electrical power cord. Control your sewing speed by how much pressure you place on the pedal. Sew up to 1300 Stitches Per Minute!

NEEDLE THREADER

This Handy push-in needle threader is perfect for threading sewing machine and overlocker needles quickly and easily, and even clips in to the 744D front cover for easy storage.

SPARE NEEDLES

The most important dispensible part of the machine are its needles – recommended needle system HA x1SP are specially suited for overlocking. Take care to replace your needle every 6-8 Sewing Hours or before each new big project!

2-THREAD CONVERTER

For the odd repair or project, this simple device slots into the 744D upper looper to engage its 2 thread overlock function! Carrying the lower looper all the way around the raw edge to meet with the needle, this specialty stitch is now easy to achieve.

SPOOL NETTING

Sewing with super slick thread like Woolly Nylon? Keep your threads on their spool with these flexible nets included standard with your 744D.

SPOOL HOLDER

For those unusual sized spools or to use standard sewing thread on your overlocker, these large spool caps keep your thread from bouncing around uncontrollably and causing tangles.

TWEEZERS

Avoid the nuisance of threading by hand – these narrow tweezers are included with your 744D for easier threading of looper and needle threads.

SPARE BLADE

As a complementary inclusion, Janome gives 744D owners a spare Upper Knife to extend their sewing experience. The upper knife does all the work neatening your edge before sewing.

OIL DROPPER

For general maintenance at home, the 744D includes its own machine oil dropper – just clean out your machine and give it a sip before long periods between sewing and it’ll keep sewing a dream!

SMALL LINT BRUSH

A useful tool with a pick at one end and brush at the other, for cleaning out old thread, lint or fabric debris from your machine, or even to assist with de-tangling thread.

ACCESSORY BOX

A lidded box that sits comfortably within the 744D scrap catcher when not in use, keep your spare overlocker accessories together in one place.

SCRAP CATCHER

Avoid collecting waste fabric in your lap – just position the scrap catcher at the front of your 744D overlocker and have it collect the waste fabric for you.

SMALL SCREWDRIVER

The 744D can sew 2, 3 even 4 thread overlock! All with simple adjustments like changing the setup of your left and right needles. Adjust them easily with this small narrow-headed screwdriver.

ATTACHMENT MOUNTING PLATE 

The 744D has a built in free arm to help with those super small or narrow projects like children’s clothing. This means that standard attachments need a little help, so Janome includes this Mounting Plate to help you use all the great accessories available!

OTHER TOOLS…

For the odd adjustment or needle plate replacement, Janome includes with your 744D a large screwdriver and spanner.
