Tips for Using the Beading Foot Set on a Janome Sewing Machine
Supplies Required:
- Janome Sewing Machine
- Quarter Inch Seam Foot
- Fabric
- Sewing threads and bobbin
- Sewing Pins / Clips
- Iron (Optional)
Tips:
- Before starting, it is recommended to iron your material flat. Once ironed, pin your pieces together.
- Set your stitch length to 2.2 ~ 2.6 (depending on the thickness).
Additional Tip: If you are stitching on light weight fabrics that can pucker, place a piece of scrap fabric before the seam and start stitching from the scrap. This will stabilise the stitch before it reaches the seam. Once finished, cut the scrap away.
